Day 3 - Milos
moonwalk

After sharing breakfast together, we'll meander our way down to Sarakiniko Beach, one of the most amazing places you'll visit on this trip. Catch some rays, explore the moon-like white volcanic rocks, and swim in crystal-clear turquoise waters. Then, we'll head to a local vineyard for a tasting of the island's homegrown wines before making our way back into town.

Take a couple of hours to do a bit of shopping or grab some goodies at the island's famous gelato shop.

In the afternoon, wander the streets and check out the views of the hilltop village of Plaka before getting together for one breathtaking sunset. From there, we'll make our way over to dinner at a cozy, family-run restaurant and try some traditional homemade dishes.

Day 4 - Santorini
opa!

After an early breakfast at our hotel, we will hop on a high-speed ferry to Santorini, one of the most popular islands in Greece. From the port, we'll head over to our hotel to check in and drop off our bags. You'll have plenty of time to explore the vibrant island at your leisure.

We recommend visiting the famous black sand beaches to soak up some Santorini sun or make a reservation at one of Santorini's wineries!

Later in the afternoon, we'll make our way to jaw-dropping Oia to meander the winding pathways through white-washed homes and enjoy a famous Oia sunset. The evening is yours to enjoy!

Day 5 - Santorini
Volcanic springs

Wake up early for an optional guided hike of the caldera and soak up Santorini's picturesque island views.

The rest of the day is yours to explore and hit the beach! In the evening, we'll be back on the water for a once-in-a-lifetime sunset cruise to a nearby volcanic island, where we'll jump in thermal hot springs and cover ourselves in detoxifying volcanic mud. Sip some wine and admire the cascading cliff-side towns of Santorini as the setting sun lights up one colorful display. Trust us, you won't want to miss this!

We'll dock at Thria's old port and take the cable car up to town, where you'll have the rest of the night to go out Santorini style!

Day 6 - Paros
PERFECT PAROS

After breakfast, we'll catch a ferry ride over to Paros, the last island on our trip. Here, instead of the cruise ship crowds that flock to Mykonos, you'll find Parisian jet setters, festive Greek locals, and in-the-know travelers from all over the world.

After the boat docks, we'll check into our boutique hotel, and you'll have time to settle in at your own leisure. Feel free to head to the beach or explore a bit on your own.

Once you've gotten your fill of me-time, we'll all meet up for a taste of the island. So, get ready to drink up and take in that sunset—this is Greek island living beyond the crowds.

Day 7 - Paros
beach club

In the morning, we'll grab a delicious homemade breakfast before heading off for a local farming experience at one of the most beautiful properties on the island.

We'll try some of their locally grown goods and wine and then head to one of our favorite beach clubs to relax on our daybeds, drink cocktails, and dive into the blue waters!

In the evening, grab dinner with friends at one of Paros's many charming traditional Greek tavernas.

Day 8 -  Paros
Soak it up

Our last full day in the Greek islands is all about rest and relaxation. Make the most of your time by spending it at one of the island's hidden magical beaches or exploring the charming whitewashed streets of Paros.

And then, after a day of leisure, we're heading out across the channel to the picturesque tiny island of Antiparos for a farewell dinner at our favorite seaside taverna and one final taste of Greek island favorites.

Spend your final night with the crew, drinking local wine and laughing it up as you look back on an epic week in the most preposterously beautiful setting while traditional fishing boats drift off in the moonlight.

Day 9 - Paros
αντίο

Today's the final day of our trip, but before we say our goodbyes, we'll have one last group breakfast all together.

If you've got some more time to spare, well, this beautiful country has plenty more in store for you. Check out the Ionian Islands, the Saronic Gulf Islands near Athens, or cruise on over to Crete for some more magical Mediterranean history.

Please Note: Based on trip feedback, we are not including a flight from Paros to Athens, giving travelers more flexibility in their post-trip travel plans (aka in case you want to stay in the islands a bit longer!)

About the greek islands

This country wears its charm on its sleeves, through its lovely colorful towns, its white-washed stone ruins and marble sculptures, its delectable cuisine and secret recipes passed down from generations, and of course, its lively culture, with festivals, music and lots of socializing!

For this trip to Greece, mix the stunning scenery, laid back vibes, and delicious food, then add lots of sunshine, sailboats, and some fun-loving new friends and you have the best vacation ever!

GOOD TO KNOW

  • The national language is Greek

  • The national currency is Euro

  • Some restaurants in Greece will round up the bill, so you should check this before tipping. You can tip between 5% and 10%, but make sure the restaurant allows their staff to receive tips first.

  • The closest airport is Athens International Airport (ATH)

Trip notes

  • 2025 Greek Islands trips begin in Milos instead of Athens. Transport from Athens to the islands will not be included.

  • While we can’t guarantee private rooms, you should book your trip earlier if you prefer one, as they usually fill up.

  • Flight from Paros to Athens will not be included. This is to give you more flexibility in your post-trip plans. Flights from Paros to Athens are very inexpensive. You can also book ferries to different islands if you wish to stay in the islands longer.

  • Dinners in Greece are typically much later than in the US. It is not uncommon for dinner to start between 8 and 10pm.

  • On European trips, we stay as close to historic city centers as possible. This means your accommodations will often be on the small side, quirky, and unique (we love this!).

  • This trip uses ferries that can sometimes experience delays.

  • All activities are weather dependent; in the unlikely event that we are unable to run an activity, we will have a suitable alternative in place.

  • More information regarding visa requirements and Covid restrictions can be found here.

flight information

Fly into Athens (ATH)

You'll need to be in Athens by 9am on Day 1. We do recommend flying in earlier to have some time to explore the city on your own!

Fly out of Paros (PAS)

We recommend booking a roundtrip ticket from Athens and hopping on a one-way flight from Paros back to Athens.
