Departure

After breakfast, we'll head to the station to hop on an early train across the French border to Strasbourg for the day and return around 7pm.

About Strasbourg: This impressive city is the pinnacle of old meets new; medieval meets modernity. It hosts the seat of the European Commission as well as a charming old town that was the first city center to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is a wonderful blend of French and German cultures resulting in a quirky town with a very distinct character.

Today we'll head to the castle that inspired Sleeping Beauty's Castle- the famous Neuschwanstein. We'll have priority entrance with a guide to narrate the stories and secrets of the castle.

We'll return to Munich around 4pm and the rest of the day will be yours to explore.
