Your brain is as adept at data analysis as it is at design schemes. You’re passionate about travel, buyer psychology, and optimizing user experience through mindful communication. You have a deep understanding of what draws people in both verbally and aesthetically and are able to effectively convey messaging that drives to desired reactions through marketing. You've traveled and can artistically portray different types of experiences and inspire the emotions they convey. You're self-starting, extremely organized and motivated by hitting deadlines. You love start-up culture and thrive on seeing the direct impact of your work.
About the role:
We’re looking for a creative, strategic thinker with excellent marketing and leadership skills to help elevate FTLO and Sojrn marketing game to new heights as our full-time Marketing Manager. Your role is to design and implement the strategic brand vision for both FTLO & Sojrn. You will oversee marketing team and assist with the development and execution of strategic campaigns, digital marketing (website, social, content, etc), events, giveaways and press.
This role is remote but will need to be available during US time zones. This is a mid-level management role and will report to the V.P. of Marketing.
Here’s what you'll be doing:

Oversee and contribute to the development of all marketing materials including (but not limited to) email, social content, blog, website upkeep, etc

Oversee execution of marketing packages for new trip launches, one-off promotions, and other strategic initiatives

Manage all marketing team project timelines and report on project status

Responsible for tracking and reporting on all marketing campaign performance

Work with operations teams to implement retention strategies throughout the customer journey

Assist with crafting acquisition and CRM strategies for distinct customer segments to build awareness and attract new customers

Ensure consistency of brand voice across press releases, blog, website, paid media, organic social, partnerships, events, etc

Contribute to the research, ideation and innovation, design, development, maintenance, enhancement and communication of changes to current product and new product launches based on customer feedback
You have:

5-7 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or related field

Experience leading cross-functional team
-
Advanced knowledge of email marketing platforms (such as Mailchimp) and how to optimize audience segmentation, user journeys, and content management)

Advanced knowledge of all social marketing platforms and best practices
-
Advanced knowledge of Canva or other design tools to create cohesive branded designs
-
Proficiency in marketing automation technology (AirTable experience a plus)

Experience with Zapier or other API integration tools

Experience with HTML/CSS and content management systems a plus
-
Experience with analytical and database tools to track, measure, and report on marketing initiatives

Excellent written communication, grammar and copywriting skills

Excellent eye for design

Solid understanding of the full sales lifecycle with the ability to optimize user experience throughout each stage

Ability to manage a team, work independently and work with cross-department teams to meet deadlines

B2C start-up experience a plus

Bachelor's degree in related field
