Day 1 - Copenhagen
Check-in with the trip manager at our centrally-located hotel in Copenhagen. After checking in, take some time to explore Copenhagen's contemporary coffee scene, wander the streets of the old town, or catch up on a bit of sleep.
That night, dine on traditional Danish dishes overlooking Tivoli Gardens, the oldest operating amusement park in the world and reportedly Walt Disney's inspiration for Disneyland.
After dinner, explore Tivoli's gardens with new travel buddies.
Day 2 - Copenhagen
BIKES + BOATS
Wake up early for a full day of exploring Copenhagen. First, meet up with a local guide to check out the city in the most Copenhagen-esque way possible - by bike.
Learn about both the enchanting history of the country and the current infrastructural and social progress being made in Denmark.
Swing by Copenhagen's most popular market, Torvehallerne, to grab a picnic lunch before heading to the harbor. Soak up the sun with a picnic and Danish beer as you admire the city from a different perspective.
The evening is free for you to customize to your tastes. (Foodies, Copenhagen is a hotspot for modern farm to table cuisine - be sure to ask the team where to find it.)
Day 3 - Oslo
Morning free to explore on your own.
Midday, stop for lunch at a famous, 100-year old restaurant for a tasting of Denmark's beloved smørrebrød.
In the afternoon, be transported to Frihavnen Pier to board an overnight ferry to Oslo.
Enjoy dinner on board and then spend the night getting to know your trip mates with the help of wine and games.
Day 4 - Oslo
Wake up in Oslo
You'll be met in Oslo in the morning with a comfy bus and local guide who will take you around to introduce you to some important places in the city.
For lunch, we'll have a food tour in Oslo's trendiest neighborhood, Grünerløkka.
After checking into our centrally-located hotel, head to one of our recommended restaurants for some delicious new-nordic cuisine.
Meet up with the crew to hop some of Oslo's coolest bars.
Day 5 - Oslo
The morning is free for you to customize according to what you're most interested in.
In the afternoon, we'll gather for unique experience in Oslo - boarding a sauna raft that floats in the Oslo harbor. Sweat it out before jumping in the refreshingly clean waters of Oslo's bay!
That evening is free to continue to explore Oslo's trendy nightlife.
Day 6 - Stockholm
On to sweden
Rise bright and early to catch a train to Stockholm.
Arrive Stockholm and check-in to the hotel. Free time to grab a late lunch and explore a bit.
That evening, a local guide will take us through Stockholm's two most picturesque neighborhoods, Gamla Stan and Södermalm, ending the day with Sweden's favorite food, meatballs.
Day 7 - Stockholm
This morning is free but we recommend having brunch along the harbor (like a local) followed by a trip to the Vasa Museum, which is ranked as one of the best museums in the world.
In the afternoon, meet up for Fika at one of our favorite spots.
That night, enjoy a farewell dinner in the cellars of a historical Swedish restaurant.
Day 8 - Stockholm
Today is our last day. Luckily, most people will be able to take later flights, allowing you to continue to explore Stockholm today.
Individual transfers to Airport (check out latest at 12:00)
"The road to a friend's house is never long."
– Danish proverb
Just for Fun
Advertising to children under the age of 12 is illegal in Norway and Sweden.
Denmark has more than twice the amount of bicycles (4.2 million) than cars (1.8 million).
Sweden is a leading recycler, sending just 4 percent of its trash to landfills.
In Norway, no one can disguise their earnings, as every citizen's tax returns are made available for everyone else in the country to inspect.
The closest arrival airport is Copenhagen Airport - Københavns Lufthavn, Kastrup (CPH).
The closest departure airport is Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN).
Though they are amazing, Scandinavian countries are known for being quite expensive. Average prices are much higher than most US cities. For example, in Oslo, a 5 mile taxi ride is around $20 and an average cocktail price at trendy bar is $16.
Credit/debit cards are widely accepted in Scandinavia - in fact, some establishments will not accept cash and travelers can often get away with exclusively using a card in these countries. Just make sure that your card does not charge any foreign transaction fees as these can really add up!
As a region, Scandinavia offers a winning combination of delicious food, cool locals, intriguing architecture, progressive thought, phenomenal shopping, and modern design.
Located in in northern Europe, Scandinavia is traditionally made up of Norway, Denmark and Sweden, all three of which consistently rank as the happiest countries in the world, with Denmark currently being number one. According to National Geographic, this is in thanks to "an abundance of free public services, such as health care and education" as well as a strong sense of community.

We know how much you'll love the Scandinavia trip...
but don't take our word for it! Check out some of our alumni reviews.
"I can’t recommend FTLO Travel enough!! From the beginning, any question I had prior to booking my trip was quickly and thoroughly answered. Booking a trip with them made traveling through Scandinavia easy and effortless. They organized unique and fun experiences throughout the trip while also balancing adequate free time to explore on your own. It was nice to learn about Scandinavian culture through a variety of walking, biking, and (delicious!) food tours and other activities... I wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip with FTLO Travel!"
"I recently returned from the Scandinavia Trip with Nick and had the most wonderful experience! The activities immersed you in the authentic culture and history of each city while also being enriching and exciting. Nick was super thorough in the agenda for each day--always giving us insight into what to expect and prepare for plus great recommendations during our free time. Stockholm for sure has my heart and I must go back to further explore. I can't thank Nick enough for leading the group through this vacation. I also can say I made a few amazing friends that I look forward to meeting up with again soon!"
"I just got home from the Scandinavia trip and had a absolute blast! It was my first time traveling solo with a tour group, and it most definitely wont be my last! I also would highly recommend Nick as a amazingly energetic and up beat trip leader. He was very professional, showed lots of patience and was very organized during the trip. Most importantly he always had great communication with us at all times. Five stars all around! Can’t wait for my next adventure!"
