If you're itching to nail down your next international trip before the end of the year, there's still time! Whether you do some spontaneous planning of your own or join in on one of FTLO's last group trips for the year... ladies and gentleman, you've got options.

At FTLO, we're a group of 20 to 30-somethings that love to travel and learn about the world. We lead curated group trips for young professionals and creatives who want to meet like-minded travelers while exploring beautiful places. Check us out here for more info.

But in the meantime, give yourself a moment to indulge these dreamy, fun and exciting travel destinations and maybe you'll find the courage to book your next flight asap!

1. Rosario Islands - Colombia

These beautiful islands off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia are one of nature's most beautiful treats to all who get to visit the country. The 30+ protected islands are part of the country's natural national parks and they can be visited by speed boat for the day or you can even stay for a couple of nights and get your relaxation on with a coconut drink in hand. Local huts, hostels and hotels all offer a variety of experiences for visitors to partake in, like night diving for bioluminescence or scuba diving in its turquoise waters see some of the most amazing coral in the world. (Psssst! FTLO's Colombia getaway makes a stop at these islands!)

2. Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary - Australia

Wildlife is key to Australia, but if you're not planning on visiting the Outback, you can still enjoy these educational (and amazing) features of the country by visiting national parks or animal sanctuaries. The wildlife usually includes animals that were rescued from, or surrendered by, people who owned them as pets. This means they are usually very used to humans and will not likely be reintegrated into the wild, but are well taken care of while serving as an educational and social-emotional learning opportunity for visitors. The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the largest and oldest (!!) koala sanctuary in the world! So if you can make a pit stop in Brisbane and want to see / hold these cute, cuddly creatures, make sure to stop at this sanctuary. (Hey! Guess what? FTLO also makes a stop at this amazing sanctuary!)

3. Hoi An - Vietnam

Consistently named "one of the most beautiful towns in Asia," this delightful town is a place that never fails to deliver amazing views, delicious cuisine and a depth of history and culture. Take some time to get to know this ancient beauty through its fusion cuisine, where various cultures come together, or take the day to stroll the streets, taking in the local views. For views of the countryside, take a nearby stroll to the rice and paddy fields. (Curious to learn more about Vietnamese culture? FTLO has upcoming trips to Hoi An and other beautiful parts of Vietnam!)

4. Amalfi Coast - Italy

One of the most iconic scenes in the world, the Amalfi Coast is memorable for its colorful homes and buildings perched on cliffs, overlooking an endless expanse of emerald waters against cotton candy skies... Sound poetic enough? Well, don't take our word for it! Visit this stunning part of Italy at any time of the year for a trip that you'll never forget. And while you're at it, make sure to eat all the pastas and drink all the Limoncello! (PS - FTLO also does trips to the Amalfi Coast. Check out upcoming dates here!)

5. Ancient Tanneries - Morocco

These tanneries are truly an amazing sight to see. Get a look into how locals work and make a living off of this ancient way of dying hides. Morocco is known for its leather products, and being able to see how those products are so carefully and knowledgeably dyed by handlers is nothing short of amazing and they make you appreciate all of the hard work that goes into leather prep. (Explore Morocco's beautiful culture in one of FTLO's upcoming trips!)

6. Kruger National Park - South Africa

Are you like many of us who dream of seeing amazing wildlife up close? This national park in South Africa offers some of the coolest wildlife experiences in the world, where visitors can camp in quiet nature reserves and partake in game drives to see exotic and powerful wild animals, like elephants, giraffes, rhinos and... you guessed it, lions! This unique experience is one you'll never forget and one that you'll talk about with friends and family for years to come! (Want to make that dream come true asap? Check out FTLO's upcoming excursions to this amazing region of the world.)

Whether you want to experience amazing wildlife or immerse yourself into a new culture; whether you want to try amazing cuisines or take in the most striking views around the world, the planet has so much to offer and the world is really at your fingertips. So before this year ends, consider a spontaneous trip to a place you've never been to or think about joining a relaxed, fun group travel experience with FTLO!
