About you

You’re an efficient, detail-oriented person who is happy to pitch in wherever needed and is comfortable taking on an array of projects. You’re comfortable communicating and working with a team from all over the world and happy to adjust working times as needed in order to better collaborate with colleagues and partners in other time zones.

 

About your role

​The Operations Intern role is a remote, seasonal position for a go-getter student or young professional looking to get a foothold in the travel industry.

 

DUTIES

Create and update pre-trip material such as pre-trip hub, packing lists, rooming lists and country-specific health & safety information

  • Research restaurants, hotels, and experiences

  • Communicate with potential suppliers

  • Assist in liaising with trip leaders

  • Keep team up to date with trip availability

  • Assist the Operations team on various projects

 

requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong writing skills

  • Ability to hit deadlines while juggling multiple assignments

  • Must be highly organized and have strong problem-solving skills

  • Must love travel and believe in the FTLO mission

  • Must be comfortable with spreadsheets and working in new systems

  • Experience with Airtable, Asana, Slack, or Coda a plus

  • Residence in CET time zone preferred, but GMT, EET and EST will also be considered

  • Legal authorization to work and be paid in your country of residence

 

The Operations Intern role is a remote, full-time internship (35 hours/wk, $20/hr) starting April 2024 and finishing end of September 2024, with exact start and end dates to be determined in conjunction with the candidate. We are happy to provide documentation as required for school credit.
