We'll need some Icelandic sun after our subterranean journey, so up next, head to Reykjavik's sizzling Sky Lagoon for the most relaxing swim on the island. Our mission is to foster connections, create memorable journeys, and empower our alumni to explore the world in an authentic and meaningful way. ​ ​ Position Job Position: Marketing Intern Location: Remote Duration: Part-time ​ Job Summary As a Marketing Intern at FTLO Travel, you will play a pivotal role in our marketing team by contributing to the visual storytelling of our travel experiences. Your primary focus will be on photo editing, image selection, archiving, and sourcing imagery and video clips to enhance our brand's visual identity. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced travel startup environment. This role is part-time, fully remote and requires availability during EST hours. ​ ​ Key Responsibilities ​ Collaborate with the marketing team to select and curate high-quality images that align with our brand's visual style and messaging. Assist in post-production tasks, including photo editing and enhancement to ensure consistent and compelling visuals across all platforms. Organize, categorize, and maintain a comprehensive image archive for easy access and retrieval. Work closely with the content team to source and incorporate visuals for blog posts, social media campaigns, and promotional materials. Contribute to the development of visual content for marketing campaigns, including graphics, infographics, and other design elements. Assist in the creation of engaging visual content for email marketing campaigns. Assist in the creation of engaging Reels and Tik Tok content.. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas for visual storytelling and marketing initiatives. Assist with creation of company marketing collateral as needed. Research and stay updated on industry trends, competitor visuals, and emerging design techniques. Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed. ​ ​ Qualifications ​ Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Photography, Marketing, or a related field. Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Canva) and basic graphic design skills. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics. Passion for photography, design, and a creative mindset. Familiarity with or interest in digital asset management and archiving principles. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team. Positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn. Experience creating video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or similar platforms. Knowledge of social media trends, particularly related to short-form video content. Experience with Reels and Tik Tok content creation is a plus. ​ ​ Benefits Hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative travel company.
