We are looking for a Brand & Website Intern to join our Marketing team. This paid, remote internship is perfect for someone who loves words, visuals, and travel. You’ll help keep our site fresh – updating copy, uploading photos, and supporting campaigns – while learning how a modern travel brand runs end-to-end marketing.

About the Role

Can you spot the perfect photo, fix a headline, and keep a brand’s website looking sharp? FTLO Travel is hiring a Marketing Intern to join our Brand Marketing team.


This fully remote, part-time paid role is perfect for someone who loves both words and visuals and isn’t afraid to work hands-on inside a live website. You’ll upload new content, update photos and text, and help keep FTLO’s online presence fresh and consistent—all while learning how real-world marketing, storytelling, and brand strategy come together.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Website & CMS Updates: Add and edit images, copy, and modules on FTLO’s Wix Studio site (no coding required).

  • Content Editing: Write and refine trip copy, blog posts, and brand copy that reflect FTLO’s tone and brand voice.

  • Visual Support: Select and prep photos, make light edits or crops, and ensure visuals align with our brand aesthetic.

  • Marketing Collaboration: Join weekly team and marketing meetings to learn campaign planning, analytics, and creative strategy.

  • Quality Assurance: Double-check pages, links, and formatting for accuracy and polish.

  • Trend Spotting: Research cultural, travel, and digital trends to inspire future content ideas.


What We’re Looking For


  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: You notice what others miss—typos, spacing, or a misaligned image.

  • Tech-Comfortable: Experience with Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress helps—but we’ll train you if you’re eager to learn.

  • Visually Attuned: You have an eye for good imagery, layout, and design balance.

  • Strong Writer & Editor: You understand tone and can adapt to FTLO’s brand voice.

  • Curious & Collaborative: Excited to join team brainstorms, take initiative, and learn new tools.

  • Interested in Travel: You enjoy global storytelling and helping others discover new places.


Bonus Skills


  • Familiarity with Canva, Figma, Lightroom, or basic video editing (e.g., CapCut)

  • Understanding of social media content creation

  • Prior experience updating websites or CMS platforms


What You’ll Gain


You won’t just write, edit, and upload content—you’ll learn how a travel brand runs end-to-end digital marketing. From brand voice to campaign launches, you’ll participate in team meetings, see strategy discussions firsthand, and gain real-world experience.


Ideal Background


  • Current student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, journalism, design, or related fields

  • Prior internship or creative project experience is helpful but not required


Work Hours & Flexibility


  • Commitment: 10–16 hours per week (spread over 3–4 days preferred)

  • Duration: One semester minimum, with option to extend

  • Location: Fully remote, with flexible hours and some team overlap for check-ins

  • Compensation: Paid hourly (rate shared during interview process)
