HOW IT WORKS

  • Giveaway Terms & Conditions
    By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. All entries must be received by 11:59pm PST on 12/31/2023. Four (4) winners will be selected by FTLO Travel on 1/10/2024 and the winner will be notified on or after this date. ​ Each entrant shall enter the competition via Instagram by creating a Reel with FTLO Travel content, tagging @FTLOTravel and including the hashtags #sweepstakes and #FTLOwrapped in their post caption, and posting to their Instagram profile. Reel content may NOT contain copyrighted or licensed content. Only one entry per person per competition will be accepted. The Promotors competitions with entry via Instagram and/or Facebook are open only to residents of US. $500 in FTLO Travel Credit will be awarded to four (4) winners -- two using a random number generator and two of the best submissions. The winner’s name, Reel and social media username may be posted on the social media profiles of FTLO Travel after the winner has been selected. No purchase necessary. Winners will not be required to pay to enter the competition. Entrants must be over 25 years old on the date of their entry. Employees of The Promoter are not eligible to enter. Instagram or Facebook are not in any way affiliated or involved in the competition. FTLO Travel will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled. FTLO Travel will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. FTLO Travel takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, incomplete or otherwise invalid. To the extent permitted by applicable law, FTLO Travel's liability under or in connection with the sweepstakes or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the Prize in question. To the extent permitted by applicable law, FTLO Travel shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the competition of any Prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise. Prizes must be used towards purchase of a trip, which does not include deposits. Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Travel Credit expires 5 years after issue date. The name and email address of the winner must be provided to FTLO Travel if requested and will be shared to enable fulfillment of the Prize.​ In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond FTLO Travel ’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice. The Promoter's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

Terms & Conditions

FTLO Travel Credit Terms and Conditions

Read this agreement thoroughly and carefully before purchasing travel credit with us. It is a legally binding contract. ​

 

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of travel credits issued by For the Love of Travel LLC, a California limited liability company (encompassed by "FTLO Travel", "FTLO", "we", "our", or "us"). 

 

Please read these terms carefully. When purchasing the travel credit ("Credit"), you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms. 

 

1. Eligibility and Use

Travel Credit: The Credit is valid for future bookings with FTLO Travel for the eligible dates listed on the Travel Credit promotion page.

 

Transferability: The Credit is transferable. However, once the Credit is applied to a traveler’s account, any subsequent transfer to another traveler will incur a $100 administrative fee and the loss of the 10% promotional value.

 

Combination with Other Offers: The Credit can be combined with other vouchers, credits, or promotional offers at the time of booking, unless stated otherwise.

 

Booking Restrictions:

  • For new bookings, the Credit cannot be applied to the non-refundable booking deposit listed on the trip booking page (e.g., $500 or $975 deposit).

  • For existing bookings, the Credit can be applied only to the remaining balance of a 2025 booking. It cannot be used to refund or replace payments already made on your upcoming reservation.


 

2. Expiration and Refunds

No Expiration: The Credit has no expiration date, but it must be used for trips within the eligible dates listed on the Travel Credit promotion page.

 

Nonrefundable: The Credit is nonrefundable and cannot be redeemed for cash, either partially or in full.

 

Unused Credit: No refunds will be issued for unused Credits.

 

Cancellations: If your trip is canceled by FTLO Travel or by you, the Credit will be returned to your account balance as travel credit for future use. Cancellations are still subject to FTLO Travel's regular trip cancellation rules.

 

3. Account and Processing

Credit Application: Please note it may take up to one week for the Credit to be applied to your account, as it is manually processed.

Remaining Credit: Any remaining balance on the Credit after applying it to your booking will remain as travel credit for future bookings.

 

4. Modifications to Terms

FTLO Travel reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of the Credit will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

5. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

 

6. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing the Credit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
